I was a professional mathematics tutor at Wilbur Wright College for 4 years from July 2014 until July 2018; I have over 3 years of tutoring experience as a mathematics tutor at Harper College (2007-2010) and 2 years experience at Northeastern Illinois University (2008-2010). Overall, I have 10,000+ hours of tutoring experience and have tutored 5,000+ students with various backgrounds.
I love tutoring because I love helping others and it forces me to stay sharp in these courses.
I have a diverse background in mathematics; I've taken 28 math courses as an undergraduate [some of which were graduate level] ranging from analysis to statistics to number theory to numerical analysis to abstract algebra, and a lot more!
I've done mathematics research as an undergraduate and have presented my research at the SACNAS National Conference, Undergraduate Symposium at Argonne National Laboratory (in Illinois), Illinois Sectional Meeting of the Mathematical Association of America, and other symposia!
HobbiesI love music with a passion [primarily classical and the oldies]; I've been playing piano for 21 years and have been singing in choirs for 8 years. I have an appreciation for the fine arts (theatrical performances, art) and I like to study history. I'm an avid baseball fan and love to watch/listen to/play baseball whenever I have the chance.

Chris could not take the assignment at the present time but he responded promptly and made an effort to help me anyway. I hope to work with him in the future. He made a very good impression of being professional and caring.
My dauther worked with Christopher all semester. He was very flexible to her schedule. Due to their work together, Cori earned an A in her Trig/Analytic Geometry class. I would highly recommend Christopher and we will use him next year.
